Heck, not even a front-row seat; he’s part of the act! What a privilege! Tonight, their performance reached a peak as they played something named Xavier Rathan-Mayes 25 minutes. This is next-level stuff we’re seeing, and Brooks is right there in the thick of it, doing his thing, or more accurately, not doing his thing because the coaches have straight-up told him to suck for the rest of the season.

Brooks had one of his best games tonight, almost too good, as the Grizzlies took the Spurs down to the wire. It’s games like this where I wonder why he can’t average way more than he does; his game looks pretty smooth to me, smooth enough to average like 13 on a bad team (like the one he’s currently on).
