It’s rare for a marginal player who has bounced around as much E’Twaun Moore has to turn into a legit starter on a playoff team. But that’s what he’s done. No one watching him in Boston his rookie year thought “that guy will play a meaningful role on a good team”.
Him improving so much doesn’t mean that anyone cares about him, though. As the commentators said in this game, he’s the forgotten starter for the Pelicans. Even though he shot over 50 percent from the field as a midget SG type. All the highlights I made of his huge-scoring, hyper-efficient games from last year have been deleted because of shady copyright claims, but I was going to delete them anyway because of their embarrassing view-count totals.
I’m not expecting this particular vid to ever reach triple-digits in that category, and that’s fine. I can’t make people care about Moore. It has to happen naturally, and as far as I can tell the only way that’s going to happen if he dies tragically and unexpectedly.
That’s not a threat.
