I would like to put the false narrative to rest that DTB isn’t up-to-date on all the cool new things that the kids are into these days. I totally know about all those things. Snapchat? Yeah, I know what that is. Twerking? Yep, I twerk all the time. Fortnite? I’ve played it.
The thing is, unlike Josh Hart, who is some kind of Fortnite god from what I can tell, I suck at the game. If I want to do well, I just hide somewhere until somebody with way better guns comes and kills me. If I even try to fight back (which I don’t usually), they build all these thingies really fast (how do I build stuff?) and it confuses me and I just start running away like a bitch and then I get shot from behind. The thing that really irks me is that the player who owned me is probably some eight-year-old playing on his phone in class.
Usually after getting embarrassed a few times I ragequit and fire up my old copy of Unreal Tournament. None of this “Battle Royale” crap. Just a straight-up arena shooter that no eight-year-old has ever played or ever will play. Josh Hart’s older than you think since he was a four-year college player. I wonder if he at least played Unreal Tournament 3.
