Josh Richardson 28 Points Full Highlights (10/18/2018)

I sort of lost track of who was getting offered by the Heat to the Timberwolves for Jimmy Butler. Or, instead of who the Heat were offering, who the Timberwolves were demanding. I know Thibs wanted Josh Richardson. Were the Heat willing to part with him? I don’t think they were.

By all accounts, he is the sole “untouchable” player on the roster. I think he’s a pretty damn good player, but untouchable? That’s really pushing it for a guy who only averaged 13 ppg last season. I even prefer him to Butler in terms of who I’d want on my team (the Bucks in case you couldn’t tell you dumbo), but the Heat have to be thinking bigger. With where they are as a franchise, they should be going for an established star because the only one they have is Dwyane Wade and he has been disestablished for a long time now.

But I’m not a GM, so don’t listen to me. If it was up to me, the Heat would be nothing but white three-point shooters from division three colleges.

Apparently the trade talks between the teams are dead for now, so Heat fans can fully enjoy without anxiety Richardson’s development this season. The first results are in, and they look good. 21 points in the opener, 28 points tonight. If this keeps up, I may have to refactor my perceptions of him. Maybe even add him to my exclusion list.
