Danilo Gallinari 26 Points Full Highlights (10/19/2018)

Remember when Danilo Gallinari was on the Nuggets with Wilson Chandler for all those years and it was unclear which one of them should start at the small forward position? Now the same situation is playing out in Clipperland with Gallo and Tobias Harris, except this time, both players have legitimate claims to both forward positions, so it’s even more confusing. When they share the court, which one is the SF and which one is the PF? Do they take turns? Does it even matter? Is this hindering their stats or helping their stats?

That last question is especially important because all I really care about stats. The game of basketball is fine, sure, but the main draw it has for me is the fact that it is basically a random number generator for fun statistics. And if Gallo’s stats are taking a hit because Tobes is there playing the same position(s) and role(s), then something needs to change to this situation can be corrected. You know what I’m talking about.

Gallo has to demand a trade.

And you know the Clippers would grant that request, because, as the fourth quarter of this game proved, they don’t need Gallo to win. The dude sat out the entire quarter and the Clippers outscored the Thunder by 22. I’m not going to read too much into it since it won’t matter once his trade demand is leaked to the media.
