This video is ruined by two things:
-Free throws. It’s great to have confirmation that Deandre Ayton can hit his free throws since that is an important skill for a big who will get fouled a lot, but come on. Nobody wants to watch all these free throws. The worst thing is that most of the free throws in this video came off of personal fouls rather than shooting fouls. So Ayton was basically standing around minding his own business when undisciplined Warriors players would come out of nowhere and unnecessarily foul him.
-The quality of assists, or lack thereof. Exactly one (1) of Ayton’s assists was an actual pass where the ball traveled through the air. The other four were handoffs. I feel betrayed. I know it’s cool when Nikola Jokic does handoffs for assists, but that’s Jokic. This is Ayton. It’s not cool when Ayton does it. It’s lame, and the entire video is pervaded by an overwhelming sense of lameness because of it.
-Bonus third ruining thing: no Ayton jumpshots. This is self-explanatory and requires no further explanation.
Here is one thing that un-ruined the video slightly:
-Dunks. Ayton caught some lobs which is always a fun time. However, the dunks could have been more powerful than they were, so this wasn’t enough to save the quality of the video.
In summary, you should finish reading this description and then close your browser without having watched the video. I promise that the experience is more enjoyable that way.
