Justin Jackson 17 Points Full Highlights (10/23/2018)

Justin Jackson is well-known in NBA circles for being one of the most do-nothing players starters in the league. Technically, he isn’t starting anymore this year, but last year, he started so many games and was basically invisible for more than half of them. Have you ever wondered what you’d get if you took Tony Snell and made him way worse at shooting threes? You probably haven’t, but now that you are, what you’d get is Justin Jackson.

I don’t think Kings fans are very happy with him right now. Their team doesn’t need do-nothing players. Their team needs do-something, do-anything players, just so that they can pretend that potential exists and that they didn’t just draft yet another disappointment.

Notice how I didn’t say “bust”. Starting a bunch of games as a rookie 15th pick is an accomplishment no matter how bad the team is or how few players at their position they had to beat out. If he doesn’t improve much in the next few years, his grip on the NBA will be tenuous, but what better way to start your improvement than with 17 points on the back of a nice looking jumpshot?
