Anyone else notice how giddy the Bulls announcers were at the idea that Cameron Payne would be better as the off guard? Stacey King sounded ecstatic. That’s not a good thing, when people want to move you off your main position because you suck so bad at it.
Cameron Payne has been uninspiring as a PG, to be sure. But I’ve already been over his flaws in the last vid I made for him, so we’re not going to rehash them. Besides, isn’t it time for positivity? This is a career-high for the Bringer of Payne, we should be getting excited for him instead of pointing out that he couldn’t make a basket inside the three-point arc.
I for one am I excited at how relentlessly he was trash-talking after his last few made triples. He was really yapping, rocking back and forth, making angry faces, probably saying stuff like “this is my house” and “you can’t guard me” and “the Bulls don’t think I can be a real point guard and they’re probably right”. And he looked positively demon-possessed when doing that three-fingers-tapped-against-the-temple-repeatedly thing that Carmelo does.
It goes without saying, but this isn’t sustainable. DTB’s FantasyTip Of The Day: don’t pick this guy up in your fantasy league, unless, like, the only other option is Chimezie Metu.
