Kyle Korver 21 Points Full Highlights (10/25/2018)

Kyle Korver, prior to tonight, had played 38 minutes on the season and scored 5 total points. That tells me two things: one, that he’s getting kind of old now, and two, that Jabroni Lames really did everything for the Cavs on offense, which we knew, but we didn’t REALLY know until he left again and everything turned into poo.

Korver still runs around and everything, trying to get open, but without the threat of LeBron, and without any other good players that defenders have to pay attention to, it doesn’t work. It sorta worked tonight, I guess, probably because the Pistons suck (but are 4-0). Looking back on it, the Korver three-ilation I did for last year was made possible almost entirely by LeBron. It was foolish to think that Korver could keep it up without him.

If he wants to remain relevant in the league, he needs to demand a trade. You know where I’m going with this. I haven’t been suggesting this as much this season, but the Bucks offer Thon Maker for him. Ignore the fact that Maker hasn’t even gotten into a game this season despite being healthy. This is a great trade for all parties. The Bucks get to reunite Korver with coach Bud to unlock his full potential, Korver gets to play for a championship contender (oh yeah), the Cavaliers get a guy who totally doesn’t tank every lineup he plays in and definitely can catch passes without letting the balll hit his hands and then the court and then back to his hands, and Maker gets to play minutes. Win-win-win-win. Everybody wins.
