Everyone’s going to want to talk about D’Angelo Russell’s game-losing turnover with 7 seconds left, but what about all the other good stuff that he did? The turnover was bad, but it was only one play, one play out of hundreds in the game. Let’s not overreact.
Here are the good things that Russell did during the game:
-Made some threes
-Hit Jarrett Allen on two separate pick-and-rolls
-Didn’t snitch on anyone, not even Ed Davis who… wait, I’m not snitching either
-Those threes looked really good BTW
-Looked like a not bust for the first 47:53 of the game
-Various miscellany
That’s quite a list! Compare that to the list of bad things, which is just one item long:
-Cost his team the game
So let’s just all calm down, okay?
