Marcus Smart 18 Points/7 Assists Full Highlights (2/3/2019)

Boston-area sports fans have it so great today. They get to watch their beloved Celtics in the early afternoon, then watch their beloved Patriots in the Superb Owl (a contest which they are currently winning 3-0 – exciting!). That’s, like, six hours nonstop of eating chicken wings, pizza, nachos, chips with dip, and more chicken wings. I mean, I can eat that food for six hours straight if I want to, but then people judge me and call me a glutton. Meanwhile, Boston sports fans can pig out on delicious food and nobody will accuse them of gluttony because the rituals of food consumption and sports consumption are so closely intertwined as to be one in the same.

Even better, the Celtics beat the Thunder, so no matter how the Superb Owl goes, they won something today. Granted, a regular-season NBA game doesn’t hold quite as much prestige as the Concussionball World Championship, but the Thunder are a good, if not great, team, so the win should count for at least 50% of the happiness that a Concussionball championship would provide.

I understand if US-based Celtics fans are too occupied with other things right now to watch this video. But I expect overseas Celtics fans to be all over this one because there are no other sports currently vying for their attention as far as I know.
