Terrence Ross 28 Points Full Highlights (2/24/2019)

Given what you know about Terrence Ross and the teams he has previously played for in his career (or, more accurately, “team”), you should be able to easily guess how I’m going to describe this performance by Ross.

That’s right. It’s a REVENGE GAME.

Never mind that Ross was never mistreated while in Toronto. He was always given plenty of minutes despite his paltry production, and while they never fully gave him the reins to the franchise, they did give him the opportunity to seize those reins if he decided to. But he never did, and then he got traded, and everybody (including me) assumed he would just be a journeyman for the rest of his career.

If anything, the Raptors would want to get a revenge game against HIM, not the other way around. They would love to have the current version of Ross on their team. Most teams would take a guy like him no questions asked. The fact that he rarely showed this kind of consistent, efficient scoring ability in Toronto must be very frustrating for both the Raptors organization and its fans.

Speaking of Raptors fans, I’m almost surprised that I didn’t hear them booing. Whether they would boo their own team for losing to the Magic or boo Ross for being a big nothing for them (aside from the 51-point game), I’m not sure, but I thought they would do it anyway. If they did boo at some point and I missed it, please tell me when the booing occurred so I can go back to the replay and watch it while feeling delicious schadenfreude flowing through my veins like MSG-laden Chinese food.
