I didn’t resent making this video, my thirtieth of the day, as much as I thought I would. Normally I’m not a huge fan of P.J. Tucker because he’s not much of a scorer, and when he does score, it’s usually on three-pointers and nothing else. I made this video out of an obligation to my fans to show footage of Tucker’s fourth-highest scoring game of the season, not because I personally had any desire to view Tucker highlights myself. The video-making process, which I thought would be a huge waste of time for me, was actually somewhat enlightening.
Tucker did some good things in this game. He:
-Hit some threes
-Hit a spin move layup that was Giannisiakam-esque
-Hit a buzzer-beater three to end the half
-Probably played defense (I don’t care about defense)
The only thing I wish he would have done that he didn’t do was dunk the ball. He’s not super athletic and he’s kind of beefy, so there is some doubt in my mind whether or not he would be able to pull of a dunk in a game situation. Basketball-reference alleges that he has three dunks this season, but I don’t believe them. They’ve been known to supply incorrect nicknames in the past so there’s no reason to think they could supply incorrect dunk totals as well.
