Kelly Oubre 27 Points Full Highlights (3/4/2019)

The Suns are now the first team to beat the Bucks twice this season, and also the team to give them their first losing streak of the season. There are a lot of factors at play here, but one of the main ones is that Kelly Oubre just played with more energy than then entire Bucks team combined.

Normally I don’t really believe in stuff like “energy”, because usually both teams are bringing a decent amount of it and it doesn’t affect the game too much. But in this one, Oubre was, as the kids say, “off the chain”. Meanwhile, Khris Middleton looked and played like a moldy potato. That’s the difference right there (also Ayton totally shut down Giannis but at least Giannis looked like he cared while getting owned). Oubre didn’t even need to make more than one perimeter jumper to make the Bucks his own personal lightly-used buttslave, while Middleton only made one perimeter jumper and did nothing else except play like he wanted to be dead.

I’ve waited two whole paragraphs here, normally I would mention this straight away but I didn’t want to sound too saldy, so it’s time to share the truth with you guys: this video has way too many free-throws. Oubre pulled a Giannis and shot 17 of them, all of them, as far as I can tell, well-earned. That’s why I didn’t say he pulled a Harden. He got to the line by attacking with every intent of making the shot.

Now that this description’s done, I can resume not ever thinking about this game or the Suns ever again, thank you very much. Leave me to lick my wounds.
