Is Jarrett Allen’s current fro the best NBA fro of the decade? That thing is seriously amazing. It makes him look like a 70’s funk diva. It got dented a little bit when Taurean Prince jumped over it, but it recovered by the end of this game to its usual glorious state. A perfect sphere of hair, getting bigger by the day. I’m surprised that there’s still a headband being mass-produced that can handle so much fro.
I can’t think of any better fros in the decade, that’s for sure. In fact, I can’t think of any better fros in the NBA, ever, except for Artis Gilmore. Ben Wallace had a nice one, but it wasn’t as immaculate in its spheroidity. And I would say that Shawn Livingston’s was good as well, but he didn’t keep it around long enough for it to make a huge impact.
And don’t even talk to me about Frobe. What a weak, sad excuse for a fro that was.
