So Jarrett Allen went 10-of-10 from the free throw line in this game. That’s notable because he’s only a 62% free throw shooter this season.
My math skills have deteriorated to the point where I have no idea how to even begin figuring out what the chances are of Allen going 10-of-10 from the line. There are probably fractions involved. And multiplication. Those two concepts are understandable when isolated and presented in the simplest possible way, but combining them in complicated ways to figure out things like probabilities is not something I will be able to do. So if you want that number, you’ll have to find somebody else to crunch the numbers.
Allen’s unexpected success from the welfare stripe brings up another question: what did he even do during the four months of NBA postponement? Here’s my tentative list:
1. Practice free throws and free throws only
2. Cultivate fro
3. Build computers
That seems like an exhaustive list to me, but if Allen himself wants to come in here and add things to the list, he is more than welcome to.
