The Grizzlies have now lost all four of their bubble games, and their chances of making the playoffs get slimmer with each disappointing defeat. It’s clearly time for a drastic change in strategy. Having Dillon Brooks chuck isn’t the strategy that is going to earn them a postseason berth. Since this is a Jonas Valanciunas video, you probably know what my proposed strategy is going to be:
Jonas Valanciunas #1 option for forty minutes per game.
This honestly should have been the strategy for the entire season since Lithuanian Lightning (as I have taken to calling him) has proven to be an effective 20 PPG per game scorer when the offense flows through him. However, it’s never too late to rectify past injustices and give Valanciunas the larger role that he has earned but was never given this season. There are still four games left with which to punish opposing teams with Valanciunas’ soft touch near the basket and impossibly beautiful eyes that are sultry, stern, and mirthful all at once.
