For real though, that’s a really impressive stat for Harris. It’s HARD to make buckets in the NBA. I certainly couldn’t do it. Neither could you. But Harris, he just goes out there, every single game, and gets at least two of them. Often it’s exactly two, or not very many more than two, but he never gets shut out. He could be shambling onto the court hungover from a 2:00 AM chicken wing binge (chicken wing hangovers are real, stop laughing), they could have just dredged him up from one of the lakes in Orlando all sopping wet and covered in algae, it doesn’t matter the situation. He’s gonna get the ball. And he’s gonna score.
That factoid also explains how he’s averaging 14 PPG per game this season despite not having many eye-popping offensive outings. It’s easy to average a lot when they’re not being dragged down by a surplus of nothingburgers.
