I don’t know why everyone is all of a sudden hating on Joakim Noah’s free-throw shooting form. I mean, they were doing it before, back when he was still good on the Bulls, but it seems like it has really ramped up lately. Just because Noah has a ludicrously huge contract with no hope of ever playing up to it doesn’t mean that he’s not allowed to shoot it his two-hand push shot from the charity stripe.
I mean, come on, his form isn’t even that bad. It’s what I used in elementary school, basically, and let me tell you, I won tons of games of lightning with it. I think I was a better free-throw shooter back then than I am now with my so-called “orthodox” shooting form. Sure, you would like to see his shots have a different kind of spin so they don’t careen wildly off the rim, but that’s about the only problem with it. He’s made it work in the past, so I bet he’ll regain his form and make it work again this season.
I don’t even know if I’m being sincere or not. It’s hard to tell, isn’t it?
