Tyler Ulis 9 Points/7 Assists Full Highlights (2/28/2017)

Tyler Ulis looks way too tiny out there on the basketball court. In a league of giants, being the height of an average American is just not enough. Not to mention his weight. It’s like a tiny little skeleton is running around out there, creating havoc with his quickness and rattling bones. Isaiah Thomas doesn’t create the same effect, maybe because he’s more muscular?

Despite his seeming tininess, Ulis is capable of doing so good things on the court. He’s way too quick for bigger defenders to handle, and he used that advantage to set up his teammates or himself. Usually when he sets himself up it doesn’t really work, because he’s not a super great shooter, but even getting open shots is a good start. Lots of busts busted because they couldn’t create separation.

This was one of his better games, though it would’ve been nice to see him get 10 dimes. Still, 7 assists in 16 minutes is pretty darn good, and, hey, looks like Brandon Knight didn’t get to play again! Maybe someone on the Suns coaching staff is reading these descriptions and thinking “yeah, now that I think about it, Brandon Knight really sucks and there isn’t a reason to play him at all”.
