I remember thinking how stupid the Hawks were for giving a first-round pick for Tim Hardaway Jr. I was pretty low on Hardaway at that time, as were a lot of people, because he didn’t do ANYTHING besides inefficiently score the ball. I think I called him on it in a bunch of descriptions, because I am a hater who only derives enjoyment from hating.
My opinion of him has changed for the positive since then, even though he himself has not changed much at all. He’s scoring at a better rate and better efficieny, but that’s it. He doesn’t have much in the way of other facets to his game, as single-focused as when he came into the league. That’s what raw points will do to me. I’m willing to overlook a lot of flaws if a guy can come in and get buckets.
