Is it just me (I know it’s not), but is Elfrid Payton’s hair getting floppier by the day? While making this vid it just seemed like it was bouncing all over the place, more than usual. That thing of hair doodles jutting out in front of his face was becoming almost vertical at times.
I’m looking at older pics of him, and it’s shocking how normal his hair looked back then. One could almost pretend that it was a typical African-American hairstyle. It was still pretty messed up looking, but it wasn’t the objet d’art that it is today. My hypothesis was confirmed using Google image search as a tool: Payton’s hair is, indeed, growing more and more floppy, and the process will likely continue until he grabs a big pair of garden shears and lops the whole thing off.
