These highlights are sick. Totally sick. 15 points in 14 minutes for Skal Labissiere, showing off a variety of scoring moves. Replays are included because of the mindblowing nature of the moves. The video content of these highlights is top-5 on the year, you cannot convince me otherwise.
The only problem is that the commentary is some of the most whacked-out I have ever heard. This isn’t the normal Kings color-commentary dude. For some reason I think it’s Doug Christie. I could be wrong, but this ridiculous commentary performance fits in with Christie’s off-kilter reputation. Just listen to this stuff. It’s insane. You can tell Grant Napear wants to strangle him as he chokes out “Skal-ifragilistic” over and over again.
I am more tempted than ever to make some sort of a “Best NBA Commentator Moments” video. God damn. What were they thinking when they hired this dude? The NBA is supposed to a professional organization full of professionals, not some carnival freak-show.
