First off, whose idea was it to put Pelicans owner Tom Benson on the broadcast? Not to make light of whatever condition he may have, but he’s not all there. That was poor decision-making all around. It just makes people sad. I’m sad now because of it, and these 22 points by Jordan Crawford are only making things worse, because I’m also thinking about how the Bucks could have had him but we had to go with known homeless-person-stomper Terrence Jones instead.
I’m sure I’d be singing a different tune if all these not-very-good shots by J-Crawfish missed instead of going in. But they didn’t, so I’m not. The tune I’m singing is one about how he is a bench scoring monster who should’ve been in the NBA this whole time. I mean, he scored 40 once in a game. Every single player in NBA history who accomplished that feat is still in the league except Linas Kleiza. Good on the Pelicans for righting the wrongs and bringing this guy back in the fold. The league is radder for it.
