Future NBA fans are gonna be so psyched when they found out that there was an NBAer who played in the 10’s called Spencer Dinwiddie. “Wow, I bet he chucked threes like every PG in that long-past era!” they’ll say to themselves. “And I bet he had stupid-looking hair doodles on his head to go with his stupid-sounding name!”. They’ll be wrong, but they’ll also be kind of right. Threes and hair doodles are going to be what this decade of NBA basketball is remembered for. Same way that every player in the 70’s is, to me, white with floppy hair and no athleticism.
If YouTube is still around 40 years from now (it frickin better be, even if my 720p vids are unwatchable blobs of pixels by then), maybe they can correct their mistaken assumptions with this video. Or one of my other videos of him. I’ve got a bunch. This one is slightly better than average, since he hits some threes (see they were right) and shows some nice moves against J.J. Barea. None of his assists are particularly compelling, but I had to show them anyway. Sorry.
