There needs to be more hype around Richaun Homes. He already has the perfect nickname (Rich Holmie Chaun), which is like the first step to getting a lot of hype. The second step is playing really well, and that step has already been accomplished by Chaun. So he’s already got the first two steps down, and guess what: there aren’t any more steps! He’s done all he can on his way to becoming a hyped NBA player.
Now it is up to us, the fans. We have to hype up Holmes every chance we get. Pregnancy announcement on Facebook? Just respond something like “Yo Aleesha I’m so happy for you but don’t forget that Richaun Holmes is basically the same as Joel Embiid”. Someone asks you what you want at Starbucks? “A small iced coffee, but also I want Richaun Holmes to receive recognition for his excellent play as of late, did you hear he scored 25 points yesterday?”. Cop pulled you over? Quickly rummage under your seat for the Richaun Holmes stat printouts you keep under there so you can surprise the cop with how he’s turning into a serviceable three-point shooter.
