Troy Daniels 23 Points/7 Threes Full Highlights (11/16/2017)

This is what Troy Daniels does. He shoots three-pointers. Historically, somewhere between 60% and 80% of his shot attempts come from the deepzone. It was only a matter of time before he had a shooting display like this for the Suns, the fifth stop in his young NBA career. If he gets minutes on a consistent basis, it’s basically guaranteed that he will, at some point, embarrass the opposing team with a fiery display of long-bomb prowess.

One funny thing to note about this game is it’s the first time that Daniels recorded more than two in any non-scoring stat. He got three rebounds! His previous season high was two. His season high in assists is one (a record which he tied in this game), and he’s averaging fewer than one assist per 36 minutes. So, as you can tell, Daniels is only out there to score. He’s not out there to pass, rebound, handle the ball, defend, or be an enforcer. He’s out there to shoot threes and that’s it. You know how Rajon Rondo only exists so he can get assists? Troy Daniels is like the Rajon Rondo of shooting threes.
