This was definitely a REVENGE GAME for Mike “Muscy Stench” Muscala. Sometime in the middle of the summer, the Hawks traded him in cold blood to the 76ers as part of the Carmelo Anthony trade that saw Melo join the Hawks for all of a day. Five years of loyal service to the Hawks franchise was negated in an instant. In response, Muscala went out and dropped fourteen points on his former team in a very vengeful manner.
I’ll be honest with you guys. While I am steadfast in my belief that this was indeed a REVENGE GAME, I feel that more revenge could and should have been meted out. Why didn’t Muscy score twenty? Or thirty? The Sixers won and he scored a decent amount of points, but he could have totally embarrassed his former team by destroying them with three-pointers, dunks, and fadeaway jumpers. A missed opportunity for sure.
I would also consider this game to be a REVENGE GAME against his dad, who made some racist tweets earlier this month. Muscy got his REVENGE by demonstrating to his dad that people of other races will pass him the ball, and he will pass them the ball, even though the pigmentations of their skins are different.
