Do you ever wonder to yourself, while trying to get to sleep at night, what it would look like if someone took Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis and put them into the same body? I think about it. I think about it a lot. And last night, while I was thinking about it, it came to me:
Malik Monk!
I still can’t decide if I liked Jennings or not, same with Ellis. They pulled my heart in two different each, so that’s four directions total, and it hurt. Sometimes they were great. Sometimes they were not great. I’m really not trying to diss Monk here. I think being a combo of those two dynamic guards would be a great thing. Maybe you could even call him a… combo guard! HA! HAHA!
The more I think about the more Monk seems like not the right answer for a hypothetical Jennings/Ellis fusion, but it’s the best answer I’ve come up with so far.
