Andrew Bogut’s impact on the game is so important that I could never do it justice. Instead, I’m going to hand it over to Bucks commentators Jim Paschke and Jon McGlocklin, who watched “The Thunder from Down Under” develop from a young first-overall pick who, laughably, sometimes played at power forward with Dan Gadzuric at the five, into the defensive stalwart that he is today.
This selection of quotes perfectly encapsulates Bogut’s illustrious career.
Jon – “Look at that outlet! LOOK AT THAT OUTLET!!!!! Oh no. Oh no.”
Jim – “Oh no no no. No.”
Jon – “Oh no. Got his wrist.”
Jim – “No no. His elbow.”
Jon – “Oh it’s, it’s broken.”
Jim – “Oh. Oh no.”
Jon – “It’s broken…it’s broken. It’s puffed out. Or it’s just, or it’s just, you know, it’s just swollen…real fast.”
Jim – “I hate to say this, but that’s in the Theismann category.”
