Unfortunately, if this keeps up, I’m going to have to reconsider my current opinion of Andrew Wiggins, which is that he is a fun young player to watch.
Have you seen his free throw attempts the last few games? It’s ridiculous, almost at a Harden level of getting contact. I don’t care whether the fouls are legit or not; all I know is that watching free throws in game is like the least fun thing ever. I want to see Wiggins shoot threes and dunk, not stand and shoot uncontested shots from 15 feet away.
I am not “hating” here. This is just the truth. Steph Curry is popular because he bombs threes. Blake Griffin is popular because he jams balls. James Harden is unpopular because he gets foul calls. It’s science.
