Avery Bradley 30 Points Full Highlights (3/30/2015)

I love it when players do exactly what they’re supposed to. You would be displeased if DeAndre Jordan started taking only midrange jumpers. Same if Kyle Korver abandoned his three-ball and turned into a low-post savant. There is no greater joy than when you see a statline, and the corresponding video lines up neatly with your expectations.

Like Avery Bradley tonight. 30 points on 12 of 23 shooting. Almost all of his field goals are of the “pullup long two” variety. That’s his game. Sometimes he’ll hit a three, but he really prefers taking a step inside. You put Avery on the rockets and Morey probably explodes before his first game is over. Of course, that’s what I thought would happen with Josh Smith.
