Any expectations I had for Ricky Ledo on the Knicks have been totally surpassed. I love it when this happens! There’s something special about a young player climbing the sheer cliff of the NBA and getting half-way up before tumbling off.
Actually, it turns out I didn’t have any expectations at all, but still, scoring 21 points would definitely surpass them if they existed!
I shouldn’t be surprised, as the Knicks are content right now to give any D-League goofball rando minutes in their journey to the bottom of the standings. Everyone wins! Ricky gets minutes that he would otherwise not, the Knicks get their pick, and opposing teams get easy victories! Who says tanking is a bad thing?
