Once you come to grips with the fact that Isaiah Canaan is not a point guard and should never ever be played at that position ever (EVER!), you realize that he’s not that bad of a player. He’s like a slightly less swaggy Lou Williams. If you like guys like that, first of all I hate you, second, you’ll probably like the Canaanite.
It’s understandable that Canaan would play with a little bit of a chip on his shoulder considering that God commanded the people of Israel to genocide the Canaanites a few millennia ago. It’s not like the Canaanites did anything wrong, it was their land, but God wanted it for the Jews so God decided that the easiest way to do that would be call the entire nation of Canaan “sinners”, exterminate them, and then pretend that Christianity is a religion of peace and hope nobody remembers.
