Leandro Barbosa 21 Points/5 Threes Full Highlights (11/27/2015)

Since the current up-and-coming generation of Brazilian ballers isn’t quite ready yet, we have to count on old standbys like Leandro Barbosa, Anderson Varejao, and Tiago Splitter to carry the load until the young’uns are ready to get the torch passed to them. All those guys are in their 30’s, but there’s not much you can do since Bebe Nogueira doesn’t get minutes, Bruno Caboclo doesn’t get minutes even in the D-League, and Fab Melo is straight-up out of the league, never to return. Raul Neto could be good though. But that’s just one guy, and he’s not going to be as good as Barbosa was in his prime.

You know it’s bad when Brazil sends over the 32-year-old balding Marcelo Huertas to make up for the fact that Vitor Faverani fell out of the league.

Are the glory days of Brazilian basketball behind us? I hope not. They’re really good at watching my videos.
