The Sixers have a bit of duality going on at the point guard position. Their two viable starters are polar opposites:
Isaiah Canaan: Can score. Can’t pass. Is black.
T.J. McConnell: Can’t score. Can pass. Is white.
If you combined those two, you would get a mulatto Chris Paul. Since the 76ers are so bad, combining players in this way is pretty much the only way they would be able to get NBA-quality players onto the roster.
-Nerlens Noel + Jahlil Okafor = Prime Olajuwon
-Robert Covington + Hollis Thompson = Paul George? Maybe?
-Joel Embiid + Phil Pressey = A passing, post-move-having SF who has only had one foot surgery instead of two. Struggling to come up with somebody like that right now.
-JaKarr Sampson + Christian Wood = A guy who still isn’t good enough to play in the NBA
