Jamal Crawford is the representation of everything that is wrong with the NBA. His entire game is fancy crossovers and crappy step-back jumpers. He doesn’t pass, or rebound, or defend. Just chuck, chuck, chuck until the cows come home. His kind of player has a spot in the NBA, sure, but that spot is stuck on the end of the bench collecting heinie splinters.
Unfortunately, the end result of his style of play is that he has lots of highlight worthy plays and performances. Because, let’s be honest, no one wants to watch 3 minutes of some dude defending really well (or maybe you do, you weirdo). So here he is with 23 points to go with his 0 assists and 1 rebound.
I guess you don’t need to pass when you have Chris Paul on your team. He does enough for everybody.
