Carlos Boozer 21 Points/5 Assists Full Highlights (3/15/2013)

It is my impression that Bulls fans aren’t very happy with Carlos Boozer’s play their team. But you take a look at his stats and think “Wow what are they complaining about, the Booze Cruise is putting up really nice numbers!”. But stats don’t tell the whole story. The story that goes something like this:

“Once upon a time, there was a man named Carlos. He didn’t play any defense at all. Whenever someone drove right past him for a layup he’d yell and then look angrily at someone else on his team, like it was their fault that he has no defensive awareness whatsoever. The End.”

Not a very good story, eh? That’s what Bulls fans have to deal with every game. But I don’t feel too sad for them. They have a coach who is perhaps the best at covering up Boozer’s horrible defense, so that the team as a whole is still excellent at it. Why bother having good individual defenders when you can have a good defensive scheme instead?
