Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago that we were reading about how Josh Richardson tore one of those *CL thingies in his knee? I swear I remember feeling kind of sad for him, and not because Dwyane Wade abandoned him. It was the sad feeling you get when you think about how human suffering permeates all aspects of existence.
And now J-Rich is back and playing like it’s no big deal? I was expecting him to return to the Heat lineup in a few months. Must not have been a very serious injury, or… the player we’re seeing right now is actually the old J-Rich, Jason Richardson, roided up and ready to go for another stint in the NBA! I want to believe. I so, so want to believe.
Why can’t you let me have my belief? Why must you seize everything from me? Is it so wrong to want to see Jason Richardson play one last time?
