Joel Embiid 16 Points/5 Blocks Full Highlights (12/5/2016)

How long until Joel Embiid’s unfiltered social media behavior earns him scorn rather than praise? In a fair and just world, people would only care about his on-court exploits rather than all that TMZ bullcrap. But the world is unfair and unjust, and at some point people are going to think that posting “cooked his ass” on an instagram post of Dario Saric crossing over Jonas Jerebko is in poor taste and reflects badly on him and the whole 76ers organization.

For now, he’s good. He can do whatever he wants, the lovable rookie who is kicking everyone’s ass and has an attitude besides. And as far as I’m concerned, he can turn the crazy up a notch or two. The NBA could always use more personalities, as long as it doesn’t affect the on-court action. But once Philly starts winning, and people start expecting stuff out of them, they’re not going to like his self-promoted line of bottled Shirley Temples.
