The Wesley Matthews highlights keep coming. Just coming and coming and coming with no end in sight. I’m getting a little tired of it, actually. There’s a whole bunch of players on the Mavericks who I would rather be compiling vids for. Like, pretty much all of them at this point. Too much of a good thing, I guess, when it comes to Weasy-Math and all these shots he’s making.
Weasy has made 42 threes in his last 9 games, to illustrate how good he’s been playing. That’s almost like what Stephen Curry was doing last year. It’s looked like since the beginning of the season that he’s had the green light to shot as much he wants, and now he’s paying that coaching decision off.
I already issued an official retraction for all the mean stuff I said about Matthews, but I will issue it again. DTB’S OFFICIAL RETRACTION: I hereby retract the mean stuff I said about Wesley Matthews, including that he would never be the same again and that he was shooting too much.
