Eric Gordon is currently third in three-point percentage out of players who have attempted more than 100 threes. C.J. McCollum and Kyle Lowry are ahead of him; Patty Mills is basically tied and J.J. Redick is right behind. So, it is fair to officially say that, officially, with Gordon’s official current percentage of 43.9%, Gordon is officially one of the official top five three-point shooters in the league. Officially. The stats are right there for everybody to see.
Gordon currently has a higher volume of attempts than all those other guys, so if we wanted to get technical about it, he’s actually the best three-point shooter in the league. Percentage-wise, he totally dominates the other two players who have shot 200 threes, Stephen Curry (LOL get good scrub) and James Harden (the clear second fiddle on the Rockets).
And, since we all agree that three-pointers are the most important part of the game, we can conclude that Gordon is the best player in the league since he is the best player at that part of the game. Not bad.
