It seems like all I heard about Sam Dekker while he was playing at Wisconsin was how he couldn’t shoot, or how they wished he would shoot better, or why he wasn’t shooting it more, or why he wasn’t shooting it less. I don’t think I ever heard anything good about him, that’s for sure. Frickin’ sports media. Always putting a negative spin on things.
Well, anyway, Dekker can shoot now, so all those people can shut up. Of course, they’ve already all shut up, because none of them care about the NBA at all.
It’s still early, so Double Dekker’s decent three-point shooting may be a mirage. It’s hard to tell. The way he puts such a ridiculous amount of arc on it doesn’t seem sustainable, but weirder things have happened the an NBA player getting better at a valuable NBA skill. Lots weirder.
