“Dear Diary,
I’m really excited tonight! I scored twenty-five points and hit seven three-pointers! One of the shots that I hit that wasn’t a three, the referees didn’t want to give to me. But me and Daddy argued with the referees, and they gave me the points! Daddy said that he and I make a good team. I was so happy when he said that!
Even better, that jerk Chris had only sixteen points, which is nine fewer points than I had. He and Daddy talked after the game, but when they got done, Daddy came over to me and gave me a hug and said how good I played. He said that if I hadn’t scored so many points we would have lost and that I played better than that stinky diaper-butt Chris. It felt really good, but I tried to hide it. I know how he gets when I start crying, so I was a big boy and didn’t cry until after he left. It was the good kind of cry this time, not the bad kind. Alan saw me crying and made fun of me, but I didn’t care. I told him to try scoring some points next time, and that shut him up good!
Thanks for listening, diary. Maybe next game I can score 30!
