Just for kicks, I’m currently looking at the Laker’s roster for Julius Randle’s first career game, the one where he injured himself and the jerkoffs at the NBA league office decided that 13 minutes was enough to disqualify him from being a rookie the next season.
Jerkoffs.
Anyway, it’s pretty much like I stepped out of a time machine and there are Triceratopses walking around chilling with the Brontosauruses, but it was only a couple years ago. Jordan Clarkson remains from that Lakers team. And Julius himself. Other than that, just a bunch of castoffs and spare parts and a guy named “Kobe Bryant”. What a weird name. Why would you name someone after a kind of beef? Anyway, aside from that dude, Jeremy Lin, Carlos Boozer, Jordan Hill, and Wesley Johnson (who Lakers fans were CONVINCED was going to be good, I remember all those comments on my vids) were the starters that game. Ronnie Price played 26 minutes, which seems like a lot.
The Lakers lost, by the way. Maybe if they had played Robert Sacre more than 7 minutes.
