The Detroit Pistons are bad. Not only are they bad, they also don’t really have a surfeit of young talent ready to rise up and make them good again. Unless you consider Jonas Jerebko “young” and “talented”. Which I guess he is. Kind of. But is he really the guy you build around for future championships? No.
It’s weird to me that this horribly mismanaged franchise won a chip a mere decade ago. Did they just get lucky with their roster those few years? Or are they just unlucky with the roster currently?
