I don’t have anything to say about Quincy Pondexter. So I used my connections and scored some interviews with his Memphis teammates. I told them, “tell me about Quincy Pondexter.”
Austin Daye: “Man, Q works so hard for us each day, he’s such a hard worker, he always gives 100% man.”
Zach Randolph: “I don’t know anybody by that name.”
Tony Wroten: “He’s been so big for us man, he plays the game the right way, you know, man?”
Josh Selby: “Tony Wroten is taking my playing time and I don’t like it.”
Tayshaun Prince: “I’m secretly anorexic and I’m crying out for attention. I have severe body-image issues caused by the proliferation of thin men in the media.”
Jon Leuer: “Quincy’s a real chill bro, sometimes I stop over at his place and we play games on his old Nintendo 64. His dealer’s got the dankest-whoops, better stop talking now.”
That settles it. Quincy Pondexter is a hard worker, but more importantly, a real chill bro as well.
