Beno Udrih 19 Points Full Highlights (11/20/2013)

Beno Udrih is a continuation of the Knicks’ strategy last year: find the oldest, most savvy vets and acquire them on reasonable deals. Udrih isn’t all that old, but what he lacks in years he makes up for in savviness. I’d consider him top 10 in that category.

He seems like a good idea in theory. What team doesn’t need a pure PG to come off the bench? Except that Udrih gets to start, with Felton out. That means that the Carmelo Anthony gets the ball, and Beno gets to watch him play with it.

Is this the reason he has sucked so far this year? Probably. Or maybe he’s just not any good anymore. Happens to the best of us. Except for Chris Smith. That guy was never good.
