Now that Bucks fans have Giannis to fawn over, they’re almost all the way through the grieving process for losing Tobias Harris. The scars are fading; and while time heals not all wounds, it does pass quickly enough for the average short-minded sports fan.
It helps that Tobes has been injured for almost the whole season, and hasn’t exactly been tearing it up when he has gotten to play. He’s been especially putrid from downtown, where before tonight he was shooting 13 percent. But we know what kind of a scorer he can be, and it’s only a matter of time before he returns to form. The Magic are still plenty bad, but there are fewer available shots. Afflalo wants them. Glen Davis consumes 10 of them for breakfast. Nelson has no filter. Tobes is gonna have to be more assertive if he wants to get the same kind of numbers he got at the end of last year.
