The never-ending series of experiments that has constituted the end of the 76ers season has not borne much fruit. Almost every player they’ve brought in has looked about as bad as expected. That’s not even counting the season-long Tony Wroten experiment, its hypothesis being “Does Tony Wroten not suck?” and the conclusion, found after much gathering of data, being “Nope, he sucks”.
The only success among all the crap they brought in has been Henry Sims. He’s not a great player, but he’s showing a lot more than he showed with the Hornets or the Cavs. He has some post moves, he can pass, he can even shoot jumpers. He’ll probably be a good backup to Nerlens Noel next year. Assuming Noel ever actually plays.
